In November 2017, Hope for Kasai announced Project Erin Uddenberg — a special initiative created in memory of Erin Uddenberg, a beloved member of the Hope for Kasai community whose life touched everyone who knew her.
In her honor, funds were raised to support a specific project in Kasai — a tangible, lasting tribute that would carry her spirit forward in the community she cared about. The project was a reminder that love doesn't end. It transforms. It builds. It keeps showing up in the lives of children who never had the chance to meet the person whose generosity made it possible.
To the Uddenberg family: thank you for allowing us to honor Erin in this way. Her name lives on in Kasai.
